Key Features

  • Funeral (Haus Krai) indemnity payments within 48 hours. Following furnishing of official stamped/signed death certificate and confirmation letter/report from the attending Doctor.

  • Nil policy exclusions except when it is criminal in nature and against public policy. 

  • Funeral Benefits (in case of death) payable directly to declared beneficiaries within six months. Provided all necessary requirements are complied with.

Submitting a claim for Funeral Entitlements

Funeral Cover Entitles

When submitting a claim for the members Funeral Cover entitlements, ensure that you: â€‹

  1. Fill out the Funeral Claim Form

  2. Attach Death Certificate

  3. Attach Medical Report from attending doctor

  4. Send to claims@niucare.com.pg

Funeral Benefits Advanced Payment 

In the event of member's passing, ensure that you reach out to our Claims team to process payment for the member's funeral costs.  This is normally paid in 48 hours.

When submitting a claim for the members Funeral Costs, ensure that you:​

  1. Fill out Funeral Claim Form

  2. Attach Death Certificate

  3. Send to claims@niucare.com.pg
